I have had to complain- of
another attempt
on the part of Chinese-
rmicearies to violate the Sovereignty of
this folony, by the seizure of a Chinese-
suspected of crimes, without a warrant from the English Magistrate- apprehended- by
parties
were
our
Police
in the act, and condemned to one
month's imprisonment for the assault_ fiind trespass.
At the same time, as the
party seized by them poscessed no Register Ticket; had been only a few days
